Jon Nakagawa brings more than 30 years of innovation, executive leadership, and financial expertise to his role as an advisor to Krea Business Advisory Services.
He is the CEO of Zeus Thermal, holds five patents in temperature and cold box sciences, and has worked with nearly every major semiconductor company, including Intel, Hitachi, TSMC, and Apple, whose teams have adopted and applied his solutions. Earlier, Jon developed the world’s first -80°C dry ice data logger for Hitachi Chemical, a breakthrough that has supported both semiconductor logistics and the global distribution of life-saving medical supplies. He later founded Marathon Products Inc., a data logger company, which he expanded into global markets for more than 30 years before successfully exiting.
Beyond his technical leadership, Jon is also a CPA with more than 25 years of experience, combining innovation with financial discipline. He has been active in structuring tax-free exchanges for both corporations and real estate, further strengthening his role in M&A strategy and execution.
Jon’s career reflects a rare combination of R&D expertise, financial stewardship, and practical M&A experience. This enables him to provide unique guidance to business owners navigating critical transitions.
A long-standing member of the Kiwanis Club of Oakland, Jon has also dedicated over 30 years to community service.
